Important Information for Spring 2008

Aren’t you glad to be God’s children? Did you know as a result that we have the ability to conquer the world? Ok, so you don’t feel like a world conqueror today. Guess what? It isn’t based on feelings, but facts. The fact is that you ARE a child of God. The fact is that our faith is in our faithful God. So we can believe for victory.
So, child of God, as we approach this new Retreat Season there are a number of things we want to share with you. As always we are looking for ways to streamline, create an ease, ensure greater accuracy and serve you better.
Retreat Dates and Locations – Please be sure to visit our website to verify the date and location of the Retreat where you plan to attend. Some changes have occurred and we want to make sure that you are aware of them.
Registration Online – Last season we were pleased to introduce Retreat Registration online. So many of you responded and tried it. There were some glitches but the overwhelming response was, “It works,” and “It was pretty easy.” For those who did have a challenge we were able to get answers in most cases to resolve the situation. Based on your experience from the outside and ours from the inside we will be utilizing this system again this season. It will be ready for use the beginning of March, just check our website and revisit the Advanced Alert for updates.
Complete a retreat registration form to collect the information you’ll need for registering online (make sure you include an e-mail and payment information since it is necessary to register online). Register by selecting the link on the website for the Retreat location where you will be attending. Begin to enter your information, copying it directly from the registration form (please no abbreviations). Be sure to click on “details” shown throughout the registration process for clarification and call us if you have questions—while you are online—often we can deal with the issue and help you bring your registration to completion quickly. Thanks again for your gracious response.
Registration Changes – While working with online registration we discovered a number of ways that we could streamline and eliminate the areas that caused you difficulty. As a result, we have implemented the following changes:
• Individual Registrations only – Each participant/ministry team member will register as an individual, whether they are an individual or a part of a married couple. Married registration is no longer available.
• CSS – That means that participant’s may individually enter their own registration and pay online. There is no longer a need to register as a group, or as married couple. The Retreat Registration form has been adjusted to reflect these changes (remember you need an e-mail address to begin) and the CSS Group Coversheet has been eliminated. Our prayer is that this will relieve you, the CSS Coordinators, of a lot of work. We would like to extend our appreciation for all the years that you have collected your group’s registrations and sent them in with a coversheet to assist us in streamlining the registration process.
• Coordinators, we realize that you are concerned about ensuring that all your people register. So we are including a provision to register more than one person and pay for all with one form of payment (i.e. Church Credit Card, check etc.) should you decide to.
• Also, we understand that there will be those who do not have internet or e-mail. We have several recommendations on how to handle these issues.
- Coordinators may register those without e-mail addresses and use their e-mail should they desire. We are recommending that Church Coordinators offer to register those that are in this type of situation or provide a time where those participants may come in and with help enter their registration (try prior to or just after a Seminar Session). This will avoid the additional fee when having Cleansing stream enter their registration. (Note that individual price has been reduced so that if the $5 fee is added to their registration the final total would equal to the individual fee last year.)
- If you, as a coordinator, would like to keep up with which of your people have registered online, you might ask them to forward you a copy of the verification e-mail they receive at the end of their registration.
- Coordinators please encourage your people to register online in a timely manner.
• CSS Online Retreat Fee – The online registration fees will be $84 for Early Registration and $99 for Regular, a reduction from the previous individual price.
(CSD fees – will remain the same.)
• Discounts -The group discount is no longer available. We wanted to free up the Coordinator from hours of work having to register their individuals as a group and release each one to enter their own registrations online.
• Fax/Mail Processing Fee - Our desire is that all would take advantage of the online registration provision but should you decide to fax or mail your applications for entry by Cleansing Stream a $5 processing fee per registration will be added in addition to the Retreat fee.
• Coordinators see the suggestions under “CSS” on how to assist your people in registering and avoiding these fees.
• Other Policies – Our other policies regarding Substitutions, Cancellations and Children/Teenage remain the same.
