Session Teachers
The Lord truly blessed Cleansing Stream with the teachers for the Advanced Training. As we sought the Lord, He revealed who we should invite to present each topic and they graciously accepted! Each teacher was given only the title of the teaching and they received Lord’s revelation for what to present. We are grateful to the Lord for those who contributed.
Dr. Scott Bauer
Former Senior Pastor of The Church On The Way
Dr. Bauer served as the Senior Pastor at The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California until his “ Homegoing ” on October 24, 2003. Pastor Bauer was also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King’s College and Seminary. He served on the International Missions Council of the Foursquare denomination, along with being a Divisional Superintendent with the Southern California Foursquare District Office. Dr. Bauer was a gifted servant-leader and teacher.
Dr. Jack Hayford
Founding Pastor of The Church On The Way
President International Church of the Foursquare Gospel
Dr. Hayford is currently serving as the President of Foursquare International. He is the Founding Pastor of the 10,000 member The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California. His Spirit-filled, practical approach to the Bible has made him a sought-after speaker at conferences around the world. He is the President of the King’s Seminary, which offers graduate level ministry training. He also conducts the Jack W. Hayford School of Pastoral Nurture, which offers week-long mentoring and interactive sessions in a small group setting. Pastor Hayford, an acclaimed song writer and author, serves as the General Editor of the Spirit-Filled Life series published by Thomas Nelson.
Pastor Chris Hayward
President Cleansing Stream Ministries
Pastor Hayward was ordained in 1983 and became and associate pastor and administrator of a Spirit-Filled Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. In 1988, Pastor Hayward was called by God to serve with Christian Fellowship Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, as their first pastor. In his 10 years as Senior Pastor, the congregation grew from five families to 230 members. In 1994, the church introduced Cleansing Stream Ministries to a small group. Eventually over 90% of the congregation participated in the Cleansing Stream Seminar. Pastor Hayward became the CSM Regional Representative for the Mid-Central area, and in June, 1998 he resigned his pastorate to become the President of CSM.
Pastor Jim Tolle
Senior Pastor of The Church On The Way
Pastor Tolle was appointed Senior Pastor of The Church On The Way in September 2004. He pastors both the English and the Hispanic Congregations. He has faithfully served the Lord in ministry since 1979. Over the years he has served as a missionary to Colombia and Argentina, Supervisor for 240 Southern California churches and Director of Foursquare Missions International, covering 22,000 churches and 345 Bible Institutes, colleges and seminaries in more than 90 countries.
Reverend Dick Mills
Reverend Mills has faithfully served the larger Body of Christ for over fifty years. The Lord called him to prepare for ministry, but Dick's first response was like that of Jonah, to run. Six years later, while in the Air Force, he finally said "yes" to the Lord. The Lord responded by giving him 2 Timothy 2:4 "Do the work of an evangelist..." Rev. Mills received his education from L.I.F.E Bible College and his practical training in daily services at Angelus Temple. He has ministered on TV and radio; in homes, churches, and on college campuses; through books, magazine articles, audio tapes and on his website. Rev. Mills also serves as an adjunct professor at six Bible schools. His travels have taken him through the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Australia and across denominational lines. Rev. Mill's ministry is characterized by his extraordinary memorization of the Word of God and the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit's promting to teach, edify and uplift.
Reverend Jean Darnall
Reverend Darnall and her husband, Elmer, have been ministering to the Body of Christ, worldwide and cross culturally, for over fifty years. They have planted churches and established schools in several nations. Rev. Darnall's personal testimony includes a divine healing from a near fatal kidney disease. She is an author, evangelist and a prophet, who moves in the gifts of healing and edification. Rev. Darnall and her husband served with Youth with a Mission and the University of the Nations, in Hawaii.
Reverend Lila Terhune
Reverend Terhune and her husband Bob, have faithfully served the Lord and His church, even before they were liscenced and ordained in 1991. They were Associate Pastors in Southern California for ten years. When traveling for Bob's work in the South, the Lord started to speak to them about moving there. In 1993, they relocated to Mississippi without a set plan; they were just following the Lord's direction. From there, the Lord called them to the Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida where Rev. Lisa Terhune served as the Intercessory Prayer Coordinator. The church experienced the Lord's strong hand of revival. While at Brownsville, the Lord taught Rev. Terhune that the most effective intercession is through praise, worship and intimacy with Him.
Author Joy Dawson
Author Joy Dawson and her husband, Jim, have faithfully served the Lord for most of their lifetime. They were converted as young children. The Dawsons have lived entirely by faith and have been in fulltime missionary service since 1971. Joy Dawson is an author and international Bible teacher of spiritual leaders. She also ministers through video and audio tapes, books, radio, and television. Jim and Joy and their adult children are associated with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
